Molesters throw teenage girl off second floor in Mathura, CCTV catches crime

The incident took place in the Chaatha area on Monday night

A chilling CCTV footage has surfaced online from Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura that shows a 17-year-old girl falling on the road, allegedly thrown from her home’s second-floor balcony by three men who also molested her earlier. The 17-year-old battles for her life in hospital.

The family of the girl has claimed that three men barged into their home and threw her off the second floor. Reports say the teen has survived the horrific assault, but her spinal cord is badly injured.

The grainy, 25-second footage shows the teen landing on the road, her hands fly outwards on the crash and then got behind her neck. Some passersby can be seen rushing towards her soon after as two men flee the spot.

The incident took place in the Chaatha area on Monday night after which the teen’s father lodged an FIR (First Information Report) in the police station. He named three men the FIR who live close to the locality of the teen’s family. He said the men had been stalking her the last few months.

In his complaint, the father says he received a phone call from one of the accused on Monday night asking to speak with his daughter. When he refused, the caller started abusing him, and soon after the call, around 8 pm, all three barged into the house and first molested the teen and then tried to carry her away. When the family started shouting, the accused flung her from the second-floor home, the complaint says.

The entry of the men into the residence has also been caught on CCTV.

In a statement, Shrish Chanda, a senior police official in Mathura said the two men have been arrested. The police have registered an FIR and two men have been arrested. The police administration is investigating the case and will take the strictest possible action.
