AIMIM to contest upcoming Aurangabad civic body poll: state chief

Aurangabad, Jun 23 (UNI) AIMIM MP and state president Imtiaz Jalil on Wednesday informed that the party will contest upcoming Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) election on its own.
Addressing a press conference here, he said that the party would field candidates in as many wards as possible in upcoming civic election.
He further said he would ask Union Road Development Minister Nitin Gadkari to cancel the planned flyover in front of Aurangabad airport and instead build it at All India Radio office or Dudh Dairy at Jalna road or extend the flyover on Jalna road near CIDCO bus stand to Cambridge high school, he added.
