Actress Ankita Lokhande was recently spotted in the city with her mother, as she stepped out to fulfill professional commitments.
Clad in a hot pink bandhani kurta and flared white palazzos, the “Manikarnika” star exuded summery vibes in a gloomy weather.
However, what grabbed eyeballs was that Ankita was not wearing her mask.
While posing for the paparazzi, Ankita realized she isn’t wearing one and asked her mom to bring it to her.
As one of the photographers tells the actress not to worry and that they’ve been vaccinated, Ankita replies “Yes I have also taken vaccine.”
Moments later, Ankita’s mother gets her the mask which the actress puts on her face.
Last month, Ankita took her first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and urged everyone to take the jab as soon as possible.
Ankita Lokhande became an overnight star when she paired with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput on the soap "Pavitra Rishta", which released 12 years ago.
She was last seen in the 2019 film "Baaghi 3" as Shraddha Kapoor's sister.
She had shared with IANS that she is happy to be part of the industry when content is the king.
"I am glad that I am here at the right time, when it is not about Bollywood or TV. It is about talent, concept and story. People want to see good work and talent," said Ankita.
Asked if she is happy about the blurring of lines between the two mediums, Ankita said: "It is a good thing, it should be like that only. If you see in Hollywood, there is no line. They do TV and films. Here, in India we have our vision that television is small screen and film is big screen."
She really wants people to see that "talented actors are proving themselves in Bollywood".
