    Concor shares gain 1.36% as Sensex rises

    Sensex and Nifty shed more than 9 per cent last week, and the indices entered bear market territory, and the bottom is not yet in sight.
    Shares of Container Corporation of India Ltd. traded 1.36 per cent up at Rs 693.15 at 10:31AM (IST) on Tuesday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 469.63 points to 53044.09. The stock had settled at Rs 683.85 in the previous session.

    The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 748.2 and Rs 351.6, respectively.

    As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 10:31AM (IST) stood at 10:31AM shares with turnover at Rs 5.03 crore.

    At the prevailing price, the stock trades at 83.69 times its trailing 12-month earnings per share of Rs 8.29 per share and 2.01 times its price-to-book value, BSE data showed.

    A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

    The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.88.

    Shareholding Details
    Promoters held 54.8 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2021, while FIIs owned 24.0 per cent and DIIs 16.35 per cent.
