X Factor star Kyle Cutkelvin has admitted repeatedly kicking a man in the head and body during a brutal street attack.
The Scottish singer, 27, left victim Connor Costello injured after assaulting him on the street in his hometown of Lanark in December 2019.
The musician admitted the assault, which took place just a few days before Christmas, at Lanark Sheriff Court.
Cutkelvin competed in the 2017 series of the hit ITV signing show alongside brother Jay and sister Shereen in the family group called The Cutkelvins.

No further details of the case were read out in court and it is not yet known what motivated the assault.
Archie Hill, defending, said: 'You will find Mr Cutkelvin pleading guilty to an amended charge of assault.'
Sheriff Nikola Stewart deferred sentencing until next month for reports and continued his bail.
She added: 'It is clearly a nasty assault.'
Last year a warrant was issued for Cutkelvin's arrest after he failed to appear for an earlier court hearing.
The Cutkelvins reached the semi-final stage of The X Factor and were mentored by Simon Cowell before being voted off by viewers.
They courted controversy after the supremo judge changed the rules so that they could perform their own material, while their rivals sang covers.
