Federal health experts plan to meet on Wednesday and Thursday to discuss rare but serious cases of myocarditis and pericarditis - inflammation of the heart - reported in about 800 people who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Moderna Inc. MRNA, +4.54% or Pfizer Inc. PFE, +1.57% mRNA vaccines, as of June 12. It met earlier this year to discuss safety concerns about Johnson & Johnson's JNJ, +1.15% COVID-19 shot.
