Beginning June 2021, the newly transformed urban retreat Hotel launches its partnership with legend Mary Osborne, bringing guests immersive experiences showcasing the Golden State’s rich surf culture. From one-on-one surf lessons and access to private waves, to stand-up paddle board excursions through sun-kissed harbours, to lesser known, locals only hangouts in the region’s laid back beach towns, summer awaits!

Break for the Beach – Private Surf Package

Travellers of all ages and levels can dive into the adventure of learning to ride a wave. For beginners, this half-day experience takes place on Solimar Beach, offering a picturesque backdrop mixed with the approachability and relaxed environment of this quiet beach community. Intermediate surfers can discover the understated enclaves of Malibu, where some of the most coveted beachfront neighbourhoods are also home to the most ultra-exclusive waves. This relaxing yet core-engaging workout offers views of the famed Pacific Coast Highway as guests paddle on a one way adventure from the sandy shores of Solimar beach to the Channel Islands Harbor. Along the way, guests can often encounter magical sightings with local marine life such as Pacific dolphins and harbour seals. Price per person USD 250.

Sun’s Out and So is School – Kids Summer Surf Camp

Week-long camps launch for another season at the Mary Osborne Surf Academy. Voted multiple years in a row by Sunset Magazine as the “Best Surf Camp,” Mary and her team have taught thousands of kids to surf from ages 2.5 years young. The boutique nature of these week-long surf camps provides hands-on supervision and expertise for all levels and ages. Included in the camp are soft surf boards, wetsuits, and life vests for mini-campers.
