England really dominated the first 45 minutes, with Bukayo Saka and Jack Grealish the standout players.
They were both lively and brought an extra dimension to the team and it was a big improvement on what we saw against Scotland.
They both had a lot of quality, a lot of intensity, they made intelligent passes and threatening runs going forward — and they put the Czechs on the back foot.

England had the chances to put the game to bed and, although there were a couple of openings at the other end, I was really impressed with the first-half performance.
The start to the second half was sloppy but it remained solid, and if England continue to remain solid then they will go a long way.
They didn’t look like they were going to concede but maybe they could have done a little more going forward.
They had a lot of the ball and perhaps could have created a few more chances.
There is room for improvement but there were a lot of positives and they should get sharper as the tournament goes on.
