Two including woman and father-in-law electrocuted in Dhanbad

Dhanbad, Jun 22 (UNI) Two people including a woman and her father-in-law died due to electrocution on Tuesday at Gopalichak Pasi Dhauda village under the Putki Police Station area of this district.
Upon receiving information a police team reached on the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem. The deceased have been identified as Gudiya Devi (32) and her father-in-law Chamar Pasi (70).
Police quoting family members said that before going to bath at a village pond the children asked Gudiya Devi to switch on the TV which was kept over an iron box. As soon as she put on the television current spread in the box.
As the children raised an alarm their grandfather tried to pull the woman but he too came under the contact of the current and died.
