EXCLUSIVE: Jackie 'O' Henderson reveals her day on a plate before and after joining Weight Watchers - as she vows to drop from a size 14 to a size 10

Radio presenter Jackie 'O' Henderson has revealed the dramatic changes she's made to her diet since starting the WW weight-loss program last month.

The mother of one, 46, told Daily Mail Australia she used to eat high-calorie meals every day before signing on as the brand's latest ambassador.

Jackie, who hopes to drop from a size 14 to her usual size 10, would previously start her day with a large breakfast followed by takeaway for lunch and steak for dinner.

'Before, it would be anything from scrambled eggs on toast to a toasted sandwich for breakfast,' she said.

'When we were on air, they'd run out to the café to grab us something. I was doing ham and cheese sandwiches every morning.

'Then I would probably have Mexican or Chinese for lunch, or sometimes a burger - whatever takeaway. Sometimes I'd try and be good and have Japanese, but it was always takeaway.

'At night time? Steak and chips. Then a lot of seaweed snacks. I didn't realise they were bad; I think it's the salt! But you're probably not supposed to eat 20 packets...'

Before WW 

Breakfast: Ham and cheese toastie or scrambled eggs on toast

Lunch: Any takeaway; sometimes Mexican, Chinese or Japanese 

Dinner: Steak and chips

After WW

Breakfast: A light soup and toast

Lunch: Cruskits with cheese, ham, tomato and coriander (six)

Dinner: Vegetables and protein with a glass of wine

Since starting the WW plan in a bid to become healthier, Jackie says her food intake has changed significantly.

'Now what I would do, I'd have a soup, and a couple of slices of toast in the morning. I know which soups are really good and healthy because of the app,' she said.

'For lunch, I like to eat some Cruskits with cottage cheese, ham, tomato and coriander. I'll do maybe six of those.

'For dinner I'll just cook something - it changes daily. I really load up on my veggies at night, and some protein.'

Jackie said she hasn't given up the occasional glass of wine with a meal, but now opts for a tipple in favour of a post-dinner chocolate snack.

'You don't have to cut it out!' she said, praising WW's points system which helps her keep track of calories easily.

Discussing her weight-loss goals, Jackie confirmed her main aim is simply to be a better role model for her daughter Kitty, 10.

But she would like to lose 10 to 15kg and get back to the dress size she was before gaining weight during Covid.

'I think I'd like to be what I usually am, which is a size 10. I'm definitely a 14 now,' she said.

She concluded: 'I'm not looking to be Instagram skinny. There are more important things than being a size six!'

Jackie has been open about her struggle to lose weight throughout the Covid pandemic.

Back in November, Jackie said she wanted to get back into shape while interviewing motivational speaker Gary Vee on The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

'I did what you said during lockdown and [embraced my weight] but now I'm at the other end and you need to help me lose this weight,' Jackie said.
