DHEMAJI, June 21: Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the newly constructed Mising Autonomous Council (MAC) guest house at Rural Livelihood Resource Centre (RLRC) campus at Gogamukh in Dhemaji district on Monday.
The new guest house has been constructed with an estimated cost of Rs. 169.58 lakh under MAC AOP 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20.
The campus of Rural Livelihood Resource Centre where the guest house has been constructed will also have a skill centre under MLA Signature Project.
The chief minister said that though there is huge demand for non-veg and dairy products in the state, production of the same is not adequate. He asked the functionaries of Mising Autonomous Council (MAC) to develop the campus as a resource centre for agriculture, horticulture, veterinary and dairy products.
State tribal welfare minister Ranoj Pegu, MP Pradan Baruah, MLA Bhuban Pegu, chairman of MAC Sunil Pegu and chief executive member (CEM) of MAC Paramananda Chayengia along with other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
