PATNA: Bihar on Monday reported 245 new
Covid cases, the lowest on a single day since the breakout of second wave. The state tally has reached 7,19,939. However, with 410 recoveries in the past 24 hours and a total 7,07,365 so far, there were 3,016 active cases in state.
With seven more deaths, the overall toll mounted to 9,557.
Of the 245 cases reported against 86,154 samples tested in the past 24 hours, Gopalganj registered the maximum 30 cases, followed by Patna (27), Nalanda (20), Jamui (20), Purnea (18) and
Samastipur (12). Apart from these, nine districts had no new case and the rest had less than ten cases. Patna had the maximum 342 active cases, followed by Darbhanga (221) and Gopalganj (177).
Both All India Institute of Medical Sciences-Patna (AIIMS-P) and
Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) did not report any death.
While one patient was admitted, one got discharged from AIIMS-P. There were total 59 patients in the hospital on Monday
