MP becomes first state in country to achieve more than 15 lakh COVID vaccinations on Day 1 of mega drive

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the Mega Vaccination Drive at 7,000 centres in Madhya Pradesh on World Yoga Day.

Madhya Pradesh has become first state in the country to achieve more than 15 lakh COVID vaccinations against the 10 lakh target set on the Mega Vaccination Drive on International Yoga Day. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the Mega Vaccination Drive at 7,000 centres in Madhya Pradesh on World Yoga Day.

A unique example was set in the country as more than 15 lakh people were administered the vaccine. This is about 20 per cent of the total vaccination done in the country yesterday. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that due to the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his decision to give free vaccines to the states, the vaccination campaign has been successful.

Chief Minister while congratulating all persons involved in vaccination drive said that these vaccination figures are proving that the people of the state are ready to fight against the third wave of Corona.
