UP CM Yogi Adityanath: Samsung’s Noida factory is a success of “Make in India” programme

On Sunday, a release said that the major Electronics company, Samsung had completed the construction of the display manufacturing unit that has been shifted from China to Noida, Uttar Pradesh. A delegation of the electronics major Samsung led by the company’s Southwest Asia President and CEO Ken Kang called the UP CM, Yogi Adityanath for the same deal.
In an official release it said that the delegation had mentioned that owing to better industrial environment and investor-friendly policies, Samsung had decided to establish the Display Manufacturing Unit in Noida, where the work of establishment had been completed. It was earlier located in China.
The release also said that the delegation had mentioned that the work of construction showed the commitment towards India and to make UP a manufacturing hub.
In the meeting with the delegation, the UP Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, said that the Samsung’s Noida Factory was a classic example of success in the ‘Make in India’ programme, and also said that it would help the youth of the state to get employment.
The UP CM also assured the delegation that the government of the state would continue to extend help towards the electronics company, Samsung, in the future as well.
