    Hi,
    Currently weighing 70kgs.
Can you weigh the same if you eat on a calorie deficit, while gaining muscle mass?

It depends if you consider "maintenance" to be keeping your weight the same or keeping your bodyfat the same.

But yes, you partially draw on fat reserves to fund the muscle gain process as long as your deficit is not too high.

    Recomp

My goal is to get 6-8% body fat. Currently weighing 70kgs, 175cm. Can you weigh the same if you eat on a calorie deficit, while gaining muscle mass?

Or would you keep dropping your weight as I feel lighter if I do...

    Yes!

But I doubt you'd recomp down to those BF% levels. It works better for overweight novices. Below about 12%, at least anecdotally it seems that people need dedicated mass gain and fat loss phases.

If you're eating at a deficit, you'll lose weight.

    Fat loss

Cool, but would it be better to cut slowly to gain muscle too? As I feel that if I drop down from 70kg to 65kg...
    Would look too skinny??

It probably would in the short term - but that's what we face... until we've finished both gaining muscle and losing fat we're either going to be skinnier or fluffier than we want.

Post a pic. There’s a good chance you should be concentrating on adding muscle. Recomping doesn’t always work however a Fatloss goal and a muscle building goal will generally yield faster results in either of those directions
If you don't get what you want you didn't want it bad enough
