A roaming goat caused traffic chaos by stubbornly trotting down a busy road and refusing to get out of the way.
The animal casually crossed from the right lane in front of vehicles on Thompson Road in Bangholme, Victoria, and trots along the side of the road.
When the driver pulls up alongside it in an attempt to direct it off the road, it ignores the attempt and keeps moving straight ahead.
He trots around the car and returns to his position in the left lane with anyone behind him forced to move at a snail's pace.

The goat dawdles along the highway for about 200m before veering into an exit lane where multiple cars attempt to surround the animal and direct it off the road.
The stubborn animal evades capture again and continues ahead, as drivers continuously pull over to have their attempt to catch the elusive mammal.

The driver of a ute seen in the very first capture attempt goes through a red-light as motorists allow him to continue to pursue the animal.
One user commented: 'I do like these new road rules that state "when in pursuit of goat, you may run as many red lights as required, as long as safe to do so".'
While another wrote: 'That goat was doing better than most drivers, was staying in his lane, and even refused to let in a few crazy merging drivers, I say slap on a plate and let him go.'
