Ranchi, Jun 21 (UNI) State BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash has described Yoga as a boon for humanity.
On the occasion of International Yoga Day he said that the welfare of all human beings lays in the core of Yoga whose importance has been more realised during the time of the pandemic and the entire world is appreciating the ancient tradition of India.
Leader of the legislature wing of BJP Babulal Marandi said that Yoga is now becoming part of every day life of the villagers. He said that while on one hand in the 21st century people are scaling new heights with the use of technology the other Yoga is also becoming an integral part of their lives.
Union Minister Arjun Munda said that the centre is taking all possible steps to make Yoga popular among the new generation. He said that Yoga should become an inseparable part of daily life.
Munda said that by practising Yoga for few minutes a day people can have a healthy and balanced life.
State organisation general secretary Dharampal Singh that Yoga is an ancient tradition of India which due to the efforts of the Prime Minister has gained global acceptance.
State general secretary of BJP Aditya Sahu said that in all the 27 organisational districts and 513 mandals small Yoga camps were held maintaining social distancing. He said that total of 67,238 people participated in these events across the state.
