Regarding “Ford aims to redefine entry level with 2022 Maverick,” autonews.com, June 8: Ford missed the boat by discontinuing the Flex. They could have easily updated that vehicle (tooling long paid for), and it would have fit in their lineup of SUVs but still attracted the car buyer due to its carlike ride, seating and layout.
I think it is inevitable that Ford returns to market with a competitive sedan.
They know they made a mistake and are trying to fix it with this small Maverick pickup.
