The South Goa District committee under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, an initiative of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India in coordination with the Directorate of Art and Culture is organising an online solo singing competition (Konkani, Marathi, Hindi and English) for the general public of South Goa.

This competition is organised under the theme ‘Goyant Amka Naka Vyasan’ with the objective being drug demand reduction and drug free society.

The competition will be conducted in two age group categories ie for 14 to 17 years and 18 years and above. Cash prizes of `8,000, `5,000, `3,000 will be awared to the first three winners and one prize of `5,000 will be awarded to the best message/lyrics in both the categories.

Participants should give the lyrics in advance along with the entry form which is available at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao office on or before June 30, 2021. They will have to shoot a full solo song video while singing of minimum four and maximum six minutes with proper artistic performance.

Entries should be submitted via CD or pendrive to the organisers on July 10, 2021. The winners’ videos will be published on social media to bring awareness to the general public.
