Property registration using the Bhumijankari Bihar portal
While model deeds and other information can be sourced from the portal without registering oneself on the site, to proceed with works like property registration, the user has to first register himself on the site, to log in and proceed with the property registration process.
For this, you need to keep all personal and property-related information ready, before you start the process. You will be able to pay the stamp duty as well, through net banking channels by using the OGRAS portal, https://e-receipt.bihar.gov.in/brcs/.
All that remains to be done after this process, is the online booking of an appointment at the sub-registrar’s office (SRO), to complete the biometric verification along with the seller and two witnesses. You need to be a registered user, to be able to book an appointment.
