Italy’s Thermore has launched Ecodown Fibers Genius, the next step into making free fibres a global platform for apparel. When used in a garment, Ecodown Fibers Genius allows the fibres to intertwine, thus creating an even and stable layer of insulation. Thermore is a leader in the development and marketing of high quality thermal insulation for apparel.

The specially engineered structure of fibres in Ecodown Fibers Genius minimises cold spots and clumping. The powerful technology can turn any skeptic into a free fibre enthusiast. Thermore researchers defined it as a hybrid between free fibres and rolled insulation, bridging the gap between the two products, Thermore said in a press release.

The revolutionary construction also boosts durability and makes it super easy to use. It can be blown in baffles, panels, and even hand stuffed. It can also be used with custom patterns and squares (plaid construction). Ecodown Fibers Genius ages like a fine wine; it’s the only free fibre solution so durable that it becomes up to 10 per cent warmer after washing. It’s the Swiss army knife of free fibre products and allows for unlimited designs.
