Kemistar Corp stock ends 5% up after expansion plan of production capacity at Dahej plant

Kemistar Corp said that this will opens up new intensification areas for the Company in the future.

Kemistar Corporation Limited, through a wholly-owned subsidiary, K P International Private Limited has announced the expansion of 1800 MTPA of Sulfonated Product having a capacity of 1200 MTPA at a plant situated at Dahej, Bharuch which is a chemical hub of Asia.

According to the Kemistar Corp, this will opens up new intensification areas for the Company in the future. In addition to this, an increase in productivity and efficiency after expansion may lead to higher margins for the company.

Here are the key highlights of the plan:

1. Capacity Expansion: The Additional Capacity of 1800 MTPA has been installed at a Plant situated at Dahej, Bharuch. And the company has already started commercial production.

2. Financials: The project will contribute a 100% increment in sales revenue subject to setting up the production system & quantity.

3. The Company is intensifying its market reach by serving over 50 customers across all business segments.

On Sensex, Kemistar finished at Rs44.40 per piece up by 5.2%.
