Synopsis

The Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India & Department of Revenue and disaster management, Government of Assam will implement the scheme with the support of Panchayat & Rural Development, Government of Assam in the state.

The SVAMITVA scheme was launched on pilot basis on 24th April, 2020 on the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day and was rolled out across India on 24th April, 2021 by the Prime Minister of India.
For the implementation of SVAMITVA scheme in Assam, a Memorandum of Understanding was inked between Survey of India, Government of India and Government of Assam.

The Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India & Department of Revenue and disaster management, Government of Assam will implement the scheme with the support of Panchayat & Rural Development, Government of Assam in the state.

Survey of India, as the technology partner will take steps for survey of inhabited rural land by the drone technology as well as establishment of ground based control stations so as to enable detailed spatial database of properties in rural areas. It is expected to reduce property related disputes and legal cases.

The SVAMITVA scheme was launched on pilot basis on 24 th April, 2020 on the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day and was rolled out across India on 24 th April, 2021 by the Prime Minister of India.
