NCC inaugurates committee on spectrum auction for 5G deployment

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) says it has inaugurated a committee to develop the Information Memorandum (IM) for the auction of 3.5 GHz spectrum for early deployment of 5G services. NCC head Umar Garba Danbatta inaugurated the eighteen-member committee with NCC executive commissioner of technical services Ubale Maska as auction adviser, and director for spectrum administration Oluwatoyin Asaju as committee chairman.
