Locals in Uttarakhand’s Haldwani in Nainital district protested against the trenching ground in their vicinity on the occasion of International Day of Yoga. A group of people performed Yoga to register their protest. Locals have complained that the state govt has turned a clean ground into a dumping place. In April, locals staged a protest against fire breaking out at the Haldwani trenching ground.
