Cincinnati bar makes list of Yelp's top 100 LGBTQ bars

A Cincinnati bar has been recognized as one of the 100 best LGBTQ bars in the country. 

Below Zero Lounge in Over-the-Rhine was at No. 82 on Yelp's list in honor of Pride Month. 

Yelp curated the "Top 100 LGBTQ Bars" by choosing businesses around the country in its "gay bars" category, ranking those spots using a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews between Jan. 1, 2016, and April 28, 2021. 

Below Zero Lounge features music, drag shows and a dance floor, and has a 3 1/2 star rating on Yelp. 

The majority of the bars on the list were located in California, Illinois, New York and Texas. 

Two Kentucky bars, Chill Bar Highlands and Big Bar, both in Louisville, made the list, as did English Ivy's and Metro in Indianapolis.
