COVID-19: MP’s body count rises to 8,767

Bhopal, June 20 (UNI) The fatality figure owing to the ‘millennium scourge’ mounted to 8,767 on Sunday in Madhya Pradesh where 30 fresh demises were reported even as the infected tally touched 7,89,261 with 87 more sufferers being detected during analysis of 68,670 specimens.
A Health Services Directorate bulletin issued tonight gave the incidence rate as 0.1 per cent and the number of active cases as 2,214. Bhopal spawned the highest 22 new instances, Indore nine, Jabalpur seven, Ratlam four, Gwalior two, etc. As many as 7,78,280 individuals recuperated since commencement of the outbreak.
