Tel Aviv has confirmed the appointment of veteran diplomat Naor Gilon as the next Ambassador of Israel to India.

Gilon is currently the Israeli Ambassador to the Netherlands and has previously served as the envoy to Italy. Gilon made the announcement on his Twitter handle.
