J&K reports 585 new COVID + ve cases, 14 deaths

Jammu, Jun 20 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Government on Sunday informed that 585 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (123 from Jammu division and 462 from Kashmir division), have been reported thus taking the total number of positive cases to 311794. Also 14 deaths have been reported, 07 from Jammu Division and 07 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 1354 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 431 from Jammu Division and 923 from Kashmir Division.
Besides this, 78.96 percent of population above the age of 45 years has been vaccinated across the Jammu and Kashmir.
Also, no new confirmed case of Mucormycosis has been reported thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 24 in the UT of J&K.
According to the daily Media Bulletin, out of 311794 positive cases, 8631 are Active Positive, 298911 have recovered and 4252 have died; 2071 in Jammu division and 2181 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 9498532 test results available, 9186738 samples have been tested as negative.
Till date 2313450 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 37480 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 8631 in isolation and 187790 in home surveillance.
Besides, 2075297 persons have completed their surveillance period.
