    Authum promoters’ past lapses emerge with Rel Home win

    RHFL is among the biggest in Anil Ambani’s financial services portfolio, which includes commercial finance and insurance businesses.

    Stock market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has banned Authum promoter director Sanjay Dangi and his associates including Alpana Dangi, a promoter director in Authum, along with promoters of four companies from dealing in the equity markets following allegations of price manipulation more than a decade ago.

    Mumbai: Authum Investment & Infrastructure's bid to takeover Anil Ambani's Reliance Home Finance (RHFL) in a bankruptcy process has brought to light past issues that Authum promoters had with regulators. But that’s unlikely to stall the resolution, said bankers.
