SWEDEN vs SLOVAKIA
Sweden are set to reach the knockout stages of the Euros for the first time since 2004 with a 1-0 win over Sweden. Emil Forsberg’s 77th minute penalty conversion remained the difference as Sweden made it through. Slovakian goalkeeper Dubravka brought down substitute Quaison, which gave Sweden the penalty. Sweden took the initiative and their substitutions in the second half worked wonders for them after Slovakia dominated most part of the first half.
CROATIA vs CZECH REPUBLIC
Croatia and Czech Republic played out a 1-1 draw in their second Group D matches, which kept Czech on top of the group table and Croatia remained at the third spot. Ivan Perisic’s 47th-minute strike cancelled out the penalty Patrik Schick scored in the first half. Perisic scores two minutes into the second half while Schick converted the penalty he won after Dejav Lovren elbowed him.
ENGLAND vs SCOTLAND
Scotland held England to a goalless draw with a gritty team performance by captain Andy Robertson and others. England had ample chances but failed to convert them while Scotland missed a couple of chances themselves. England remained second with four points from two games but behind Czech Republic on goal difference. Scotland got their first points of the tournament but remained on the last spot in the table.
