Mhow: A mega vaccination drive will be organised in Mhow on World Yoga Day. About 20,000 will be given vaccine jabs on this occasion. The vaccination drive in Mhow will be organised in Mhow tehsil by government departments, local administration, health department and revenue department.
On Monday, 60 vaccination centres will be set up in the entire Mhow tehsil. The administration has set a target to vaccinate more than 3,500 people at Dussehra Maidan and Mhowgaon, the two drive-in vaccination centres built in Mhow. The local administration and health department have decided to vaccinate more than 15,000 people above 18 years and for those above 45 years the target is more than 4,500 people.
SDM Abhilash Mishra and naib tehsildar are running various campaigns in the rural areas and villages of Mhow tehsil to motivate people to take vaccine jabs. Three mobile vaccination vans will also be deployed in Mhow to boost up the vaccination drive. Apart from it, the administration will make 50 vaccination centres in rural areas of Mhow as well.
Till now, more than 1,50,000 people have been vaccinated in the entire Mhow tehsil.
Addressing the media SDM Abhilash Mishra said, “I would like to appeal to all the people who have not been vaccinated yet, to get vaccinated as early as possible.”Attachments area
