How content are you with your career?
What I love about my job is that I am always entertaining people. In this pandemic time, I want my audience to be happy. An actor’s job is to entertain the audience with his craft. I am happy that I am doing that. I believe in living in the present and I love what I do and I do what I love.
In your craft, who do you consider to be your teacher?
The experiences of life are my biggest teachers. I don't follow anyone in particular, since life teaches you the best lesson and every day is a learning experience.
What do you do in your free time?
I love reading motivational books because in my field there are times when I don’t have any work. At times I get negative thoughts. When I read motivational and positive books, I feel better. I also love music.
Web series are doing well in India; what kind of role or show are you aiming at?
Yes, nowadays people are loving web series. I feel OTT puts out realistic content, while TV is a bit dramatic. I would love to play a negative, intense character in a web series.
Are you ready to do bold scenes?
I’m not yet ready to do bold scenes. I’m not at all comfortable. When it comes to abusive language, yes, if the script demands, I will do it.
What’s your fitness regime?
Regular exercise and eating healthy food. Along with physical health, mental health is also very important. Yoga and meditation is also a must for me as that keeps me away from negativity.
How has life changed after you got married to Rajshri?
We have been married for six months and I’m very happy.
How do you see your life in the next 10 years?
I believe in the present; whatever is there, it’s today. So, I enjoy the moment, and I don’t think about tomorrow. I only want to be happy, good, healthy and keep learning from my experiences.
