Legendary Indian sprinter Milkha Singh was cremated with full state honours in Chandigarh. The four-time Asian Games gold medallist passed away due to Covid-19 complications. Milkha Singh’s wife, Nirmal Kaur, had also passed away due to COVID-19. Punjab chief minister Captain Amrinder Singh had announced that Milkha would be cremated with state honours.
