17 new cases in Gurgaon, positivity rate 0.4%

Gurgaon: The city on Friday recorded 17 new cases taking the caseload to 1,80,572 with the positivity rate at 0.4% and active cases at 299. On Friday, as many as two deaths were reported, taking the toll to 880. The fatality rate stands at 0.3%, officials said.
Gurgaon on Friday also saw recovery of 18 people, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,79,393. At present, the recovery rate stands at 99.6%.
Meanwhile, 80 people were sent to institutional quarantine facilities on Friday. So far, 16,09,058 people have been put under surveillance in the city. Till now, 15,96,472 samples have been sent for testing, of which 14,11,875 returned negative
