AMYPCO demands capital punishment for Rupesh Kumar

Imphal, June 18 2021: All Manipur Youth Protection Committee (AMYPCO) demanded capital punishment for Rupesh Kumar, who was arrested on charge of kidnapping a 11 years old girl recently.

In a statement issued today, AMYPCO also appealed the Government to frame a strict rule for verification and background check for tenants before giving them accommodation in rent house as soon as possible in order to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.

Indigenous People's Association (IPAK) and All Club Organisation Association and Meira Paibi Lup (ACOAM-Lup) also condemned the incident.
