Corona situation improved rapidly, less than a thousand new cases coming in 27 states including UP-Punjab

In the second wave of the corona pandemic, the situation is getting better day by day. In 27 states and union territories including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, the number of daily cases has come down to less than a thousand. Two thousand or more cases are being found in Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Bengal, Assam, and Odisha only.

The maximum number of cases are being found in Kerala. The number of daily deaths has also come down to two thousand. There have been 1,642 deaths during the last 24 hours. Of these, a maximum of 648 deaths has occurred in Maharashtra. Apart from this, 287 people have also lost their lives in Tamil Nadu and 168 in Karnataka. So far there have been 3,85,164 deaths across the country, with the highest number of 1,16,674 deaths from Maharashtra alone.

At the same time, according to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry, the daily and weekly infection rate is also declining continuously. The recovery rate of patients is improving. Along with this, there is a decrease in active cases. After about two and a half months, the active cases have come down to below eight lakh.

Corona cases decreased in Madhya Pradesh

110 corona infections have been found in Madhya Pradesh while 28 patients have died. The infection rate has come down to 0.1 percent. These figures have been given in the Health Bulletin released by the Health Department on Friday. A maximum of 24 infected has been found in Bhopal and 21 in Indore. Not a single patient has been found in 50 percent of the districts. In the rest, from one to nine patients have been found. Now 2727 active corona patients in the state are undergoing treatment in hospitals. Most of the patients are in home isolation. According to the Health Bulletin, 28 have died.
