Schlumberger New Energy and Panasonic
Energy of North America have entered into an agreement to collaborate for providing
ways to improve lithium production so that the surge in the demand for lithium
in the EV can be met. It is expected that Panasonic will guide as to which
lithium material should be used for battery-grade consumption. The pilot plant,
situated in Clayton Valley, Nevada is 200 miles away from Panasonic Energy of
North America, in Sparks, Nevada.
