BSP leader Ambika Choudhry quits party

Ballia, Jun 19 (UNI) Senior Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader and former Uttar Pradesh minister Ambika Choudhury has resigned from the party on Saturday.
Mr Choudhury, who was a senior SP leader ,had left the party in 2017 assembly polls after difference with Akhilesh Yadav.
Later he joined BSP before 2019 Lok Sabhs polls.
However , Mr Choudhury once a close confidant of Mulayam Singh Yadav, could rejoin the party very soon.
The political change occured after Akhilesh Yadav declared Ambika Chaudhary's son Anand Choudhary as the candidate of District Panchayat chairman election.
Mr Ambika Choudhury said here on Saturday thst he has sent his resignation letter to BSP chief Mayawati.
" Since 2019 Lok Sabha polls the oarty had given no work to me . Besides after SP fielded my son as the district Panchayst chairman candidate, I have no moral to continue in the BSP," he said.
But Mr Choudhury said that he was yet to decide which party to join.
