MX Taka Tak has left Tiktok, Facebook, and Instagram behind in terms of maximum downloads in Asia during Q1 of 2021.
Tiktok is the most downloaded non-gaming app globally in Q1, 2021 with total downloads of 175+ million. While Facebook and Instagram occupy second and third rank respectively in terms of maximum downloads globally in Q1 of 2021. Facebook recorded 155+ million worldwide downloads, whereas Instagram got 140+ million installations in the first three months of 2021.
2. Moj:
ShareChat owned short video app Moj ranks second among the Indian non-gaming apps having maximum downloads globally in January to March interval. It recorded 71+ million downloads in Q1, 2021.
The app is very popular among the Indian youth due to its advanced features and the latest filters for making short videos. In the Asia continent, it the fifth most downloaded non-gaming app in Q1, 2021. The app got immense popularity due to the exit of Tiktok from India.
3. Josh:
Ver Se Innovation owns the Indian short video app, Josh. The app helps users to share short video clips with trending musics with their friends and family members. In May month, the app received 21 million downloads.
In Q1, 2021, the app recorded a total of 61+ million downloads to occupy the third position among Indian apps globally. In Asia, it is the seventh most downloaded non-gaming app of the first quarter.
4. Snacky Takatak:
This is another entertaining short video app that has been designed to share entertaining videos with online users. In the March quarter, the app saw a surge in its downloads to 32+ million.
