Thane: Man held for killing 13-year-old niece in Dombivli

KALYAN: A 30-year-old auto-rickshaw driver has been arrested for allegedly killing his 13-year-old niece and also injuring her 18-year-old friend in Dombivli in the Thane district of Maharashtra.
On Thursday night, when the accused returned home, he found both the deceased and her male friend together and got angry.
He assaulted them with stone following which the girl died on the spot while her 18-year old friend, who suffered injuries, managed to escape.
The Dombivli police, following the complaint by the deceased's mother, registered a murder case against the accused, 30, and arrested him.
