Today’s best Prime Day MacBook deals
What Prime Day MacBook deals to expect
When shopping the Prime Day MacBook sales, it helps to be up to speed with the models available. The current lineup includes the MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and 16-inch MacBook Pro, with the standard 12-inch MacBook and 15-inch MacBook Pro being officially discontinued as of now.
It seems very likely that we’ll see discounts on all three of today’s models, with the deepest discounts likely to come for the 16-inch MacBook Pro. Price-wise, the 16-inch MacBook Pro is the most expensive model, so markdowns will probably reflect that, but bear in mind that the MacBook Air is the most affordable of the bunch.
What Prime Day MacBook deals we saw last year
Last year’s event was pretty good when it came to Prime Day MacBook deals. We saw $150 off the base MacBook Air, bringing it down to just $849, while more expensive models also had $100 to $200 slashed off the price. There were similar cuts for the 13-inch MacBook Pro, too, and the 16-inch MacBook Pro even saw markdowns of up to $300 on select models.
Amazon also cut the price on some of its professionally renewed MacBook Airs for those users who were on a tighter budget or simply looking for a MacOS machine for even less.
