
In a major offensive security forces destroyed a training camp of the National Liberation Front of Bodoland (NDFB) in Pakke-Kessang district in Arunachal Pradesh. The joint operation was conducted by Assam and Arunachal Pradesh Police Forces. A senior official who does not want to named told ET, "In the camp, new recruits were trained."
Arunachal Pradesh stated that the camps were recently built and most probably the people may have been engaged in the garb of timber operators. "No militant was apprehended during the operation. They must have fled the jungle on seeing the team," the statement said.
