Road watch: Several road commission projects slated week of June 21

The St. Clair County Road Commission has several projects slated for the week of June 21, all weather dependent: 

Clay Township – Flamingo Road is limited to one-lane traffic for bridge replacement until 8/30/21.

Clay Township – Phelps Road will have intermittent lane closures between Muskrat Run and Holland for road resurfacing during the week of 6/21/21.

Columbus Township – Rattle Run Road will be closed between Palms and Hessen for a crossroad culvert replacement one day during the week of 6/21/21.

Cottrellville Township – Starville Road over Beaubien Creek will be closed from Broadbridge Road to approximately 500 feet south, for a structure replacement beginning 6/14/21 and lasting approximately 3 weeks.

Kimball Township – Lapeer Road will be closed to westbound traffic between Wadhams and Allen for reconstruction work through 6/24/21.

St. Clair Township – Cox Road will be closed between Vine and Rattle Run for ditching one day during the week of 6/21/21.

Wales Township – Sparling Road will be closed between Goodells and Emerson for a crossroad culvert replacement one day during the week of 6/21/21
