    CG Consumer shares gain 0.87% as Sensex falls

    Synopsis

    A total of 11,970 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:51AM (IST)

    Nifty on Wednesday halted a falling spree and formed a bullish candle on the daily chart.
    Shares of the Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. traded at Rs 427.4 on BSE at 10:51AM (IST) on Thursday, up 0.87 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 222.9 and a high of Rs 455.6.

    Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

    At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 43.57 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 9.82 per share and 8.92 times its book value, as per BSE data.

    A total of 11,970 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:51AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 26865.19 crore and is part of the Electronics/Electricals industry.

    The scrip has been an outperformer , up 86.52 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 55.21 per cent gain in Sensex.

    During the day, the stock moved between Rs 429.0 and Rs 420.05.

    Promoters held 0.0 per cent in the company as of 31-Mar-2021. FII and MF ownership in Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. stood at 39.18 per cent and 27.9 per cent, respectively.
