India and New Zealand are ready to lock horns in the much-awaited World Test Championship (WTC) final which gets underway from Friday at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. Meanwhile, we don't want to dampen your excitement for the game, but it is raining at the moment and the weather forecast for the next five days and even the reserve day isn't great either.

The weather forecast (as expected in England) shows thunderstorms, morning showers, passing showers on all days of play. As per the weather forecast from accuweather.com, it is more likely to rain on June 19, June 20, and June 22 than on the other two days. Although, it won't be sunny on June 18 and June 21 either. It is also expected to rain on the reserve day.

Obviously, cricket fans on Twitter are disappointed. "Keep ICC events away from England. Specially if it's just a one off match. Complete waste of a two year long cycle," said a Twitter user. "England should be stripped off from hosting ICC Events. It kills the excitement. 2019 WC excitement was killed because of so many washed out matches in first half. I don't know how is that a summer if it rains so much," wrote another user.
