India’s largest IP-driven incubation lab – has now joined hands with New-York-based Magic Edtech. As part of the strategic alliance, BridgeLabz will upskill more than 100 engineers from Magic EdTech so that they are prepared to build the cutting edge EdTech ecosystem of the future.
BridgeLabz is India’s first and largest job-skilling and employment marketplace for high-tech job seekers and employers. They are focused on solving the global tech employability & skills challenge. Through its BridgeLabz Grooming Program, the IP-driven incubator serves two purposes simultaneously. On one hand, it equips domestic and global organizations with job-ready talent.
This talent is groomed specifically as per the requirement of an organization and hence, it is productive from Day 1. On the other hand, it contributes to the employment of engineering graduates. BridgeLabz specifically focuses on the skills that engineering students need across their future workplaces i.e. Magic Edtech in this case.
Narayan Mahadevan, Founder & CEO, BridgeLabz, said, “The technological employability is one of the core challenges that our nation faces today. It gives me immense pleasure to say that we are tackling this challenge head-on by ensuring that candidates have practical, job-relevant skills rather than vague, theoretical knowledge.
“Our tie-up with Magic Edtech builds along the same lines and will help us change the status quo. Our conversations with Magic Edtech have been very conducive and we are confident that the association will bring about a win-win proposition for all stakeholders involved,” Mahadevan added.
Sanjay Kabra, Magic EdTech COO, said, “Magic EdTech is today bridging some of the biggest need-gaps prevailing in the education sector across the globe. We believe that the path of technology is the way to go forward as it has the potential to disrupt paradigms.
“However, technological skills, especially the ones that are relevant to the business model of a company need to be continually upgraded.
“Our partnership with Bridgelabz is aimed at resolving this challenge so that there is minimal turnaround time while onboarding talent and upskilling them. This is crucial to our success and something that makes us certified great place to work. We are confident that our partnership will generate the desired results,” Kabra added.
BridgeLabz continues to place and upskils 10-15 engineers at Magic EdTech every month. The average CTC of these budding engineers will be INR 4 lakhs per annum.
Since its inception in 2015, BridgeLabz has placed more than 2,500 engineers across 500 tech companies including Turtlemint, Niyo, Yatra, Meru, Bookmyshow and Urban Ladder alongside others.
