I can disclose that Rosemary, who won new fans on the hit reality television series I'm A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here! and The Real Marigold Hotel, was operated on by Amir Nakhdjevani, a cosmetic surgeon at Bella Vou clinic in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
'The time had come where I knew this was a necessity, from a medical perspective — not vanity,' Rosemary says. 'I knew my eyes would only get worse.'
Her droopy and weepy eyes caused such discomfort she was no longer able to wear mascara. The upper eyelid surgery was carried out under local anaesthetic, without a hospital stay.

'I'm over the moon with the results — I feel like a different person,' she says. 'My whole face seems alive. I've been complimented on how fresh I look, and I cannot wait to wear mascara again.'
She adds: 'I might be 70, but that doesn't mean I'm ready to stop; I want to keep working and push myself until 80 at least.'
BBC Radio 4 presenter Fi Glover recently said so many of her broadcasting colleagues had taken the chance to have surgery while working from home that she feared she might no longer recognise some of them.
Anne's racy day with old flame

Princess Anne was reunited with former flame Andrew Parker Bowles at Royal Ascot yesterday.
As viewers of Netflix hit The Crown will know, the pair enjoyed a passionate romance before the brigadier wed the future Duchess of Cornwall.
'Anne and Andrew have remained close friends for decades,' a mutual pal tells me.

Meanwhile, Prince Edward wore a face mask emblazoned with an image of the Royal Yacht Britannia, decommissioned — to the dismay of the Royal Family — in 1997.
Was it his way of signalling support for a new royal yacht?
Boris Johnson revealed plans for a £200 million 'national' yacht to promote Britain overseas, but the Queen is said to fear it may become a political football.

Sumner lovin'! The child of Sting and film producer Trudie Styler, Eliot Sumner, is enjoying a romance with lingerie model Sarah Holt.
The 30-year-old, who plays a bodyguard in the forthcoming James Bond film No Time To Die, enjoyed a date in London's Soho with the Agent Provocateur campaign star, also 30, from Cornwall.
'Most people assume I'm some blonde bimbo,' Holt told Playboy magazine, 'but I've read The Age Of Reason by Jean-Paul Sartre three times and Crime And Punishment twice.'
The couple haven't disclosed how they met, but a friend said Eliot was recently using dating app Bumble.
Love Actually director Richard Curtis is backing a charity day at Fonthill House, Wiltshire, for Pancreatic Cancer Action in tribute to the film's star Alan Rickman, who died in 2016 aged 69.
'We lost Alan to it — which has been such a sorrow,' says Curtis, who's donated a celluloid film reel, still and original script for the silent auction.
'I knew Alan for more than ten years, but wish it was 30. That's the point of a day like this.'
Lord Margadale, who owns Fonthill, is opening its beautiful gardens on July 11 to raise money, telling me: 'I like to share the garden and, if we can do it in the name of a good cause, even better.'
Why it's Miller time at Ascot...

Savannah Miller and her boyfriend James Whewell at the Royal Ascot. Whewell went down on bended knee for the picture and it soon emerged he was just horsing around
Savannah Miller had a shock yesterday when her boyfriend, James Whewell, went down on bended knee in their first public appearance together — at Royal Ascot.
The fashion designer, 42, started dating the 40-year-old heir to the 800-acre Wyresdale Park Estate in Lancaster only last summer.
It soon emerged Whewell was just horsing around at the Berkshire racecourse.
'I've never been [to Ascot] before and I can't tell you how thrilled I am to be out and in the world dressed to the nines,' says Savannah.
Top restaurateur Jeremy King took the opportunity to tackle Sadiq Khan yesterday when London's publicity-loving Mayor had breakfast at his Piccadilly venue, The Wolseley. Critics say Khan's congestion charge is killing the capital's businesses.
'If it was scrapped in the evening and the weekends, you'd see a rush into London,' King tells me. 'He said it's not possible because of negotiations with the Government, but he's working on it.'
I wonder if Prince William made similar points when he held talks with Khan at Kensington Palace on Tuesday?
