Experts have feared that it may not be possible to stop the third wave, given the laxity in people's adherence to rules and the main difficulties in achieving the goal of immunization for all. According to public health and epidemiologist Dr. Chandrakant Laharia, 40 to 50 population has been affected in the second wave.

He says that the third wave of infection may come after the monsoon. However, Dr. Laharia says that apart from those who have been infected earlier, antibodies have also been formed in people who have been vaccinated.

There is a possibility of increasing cases in the remaining population. However, the third wave may be less effective, if 10 thousand cases are coming daily, then at that time the cases will increase to 20 to 25 thousand. It will not make much difference, but if the cases start increasing after the decreasing number of cases, then it is considered as a wave. This has been seen in many countries.

Chandrakant Laharia expressed apprehension, cases may increase between October to November

Dr. Laharia says that at the national level, a new wave can be seen soon in more different states. Cases can increase here between October to November. Dr. Laharia says that the changing variants are also responsible for the third wave coming.

Now a new variant Delta Plus has been found and it can infect more than 60 to 70 percent of people. If the variants keep changing in the country, then the possibility of a third wave of corona will also increase.
