Several Shootings in Surprise, Arizona, Suspect Detained by Police

The police department of Surprise, Arizona has reportedly arrested an individual suspected of firing a gun at other cars. The shooting may have injured at least two people.

Surprise Police detained the suspect after conducting a traffic stop of the suspect's vehicle, Surprise Police Department Sergeant Greg Welch told Newsweek. One of the shooting victims in critical condition, but there is no information on the second victim, Welch added.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety told KPHO-TV that state highway troopers are still assessing what occurred.
